Multimedia work for symphony orchestra and visual media
Duration: 2 minutes, 18 seconds
Render Wander takes its name from a phrase coined by Michael Pietrobon, a close friend and colleague of Bryan (Pietrobon was the director of photography on Bryan’s multimedia work To Dust). The term came about to describe the wanderings one often finds themselves on during the long rendering process of a large digital media work. For this multimedia piece, Bryan took the term literally and filmed his wanderings on trails outside the town of Independence, California, at the base of the Sierra Nevada.
